Foster and Gamko makes PPE donation to
local Healthcare Trust
Foster and Gamko has responded to the Norfolk and Suffolk Foundation Trust’s appeal for face masks with a timely donation of PPE.
The companies procured a number of masks to ensure compliance with government legislation and is in the fortunate position to be able to donate surplus masks to the Trust.
Mason Fitzgerald, Deputy Chief Executive and Director of Strategic Partnerships said “We are so grateful for Foster and Gamko’s support. All of our staff are now required to wear face masks in line with government guidance and so whilst we have a rolling supply, donations of this nature are also very much appreciated and help us to keep our service users and staff safe”.
The company, the UK’s largest commercial refrigeration manufacturer, says it was only too pleased to help doctors, nurses and other key workers who continue to deal with the effects of the coronavirus.
“Doing our bit to help local healthcare services is clearly something we’re extremely keen to be part of,” said Chris Playford, Market and Development Director for Foster and Gamko.
“We’re very proud to play a part in supporting the local community, where just like in the rest of the country, the effects of COVID-19 are being closely felt. If this donation can help to protect the Trust’s staff and their patients, then it is our pleasure to do so.”
The donation comes a month after the company restarted manufacturing in response to the re-opening of fast-food chains across the country.
