Charity and Community
From bake sales to epic sporting challenges, Foster and Gamko can always be relied upon to give 100% when supporting charities or the local community.
Recent endeavours have included a half iron man distance triathlon and a companywide walking challenge raising funds for The Norfolk Hospice, ‘Wear it Pink’ fundraising for Breast Cancer Now, a ‘Movember’ bake sale and moustache-off for men’s health charities and corporate support of the Prince’s Trust ‘Change a Girl’s Life’ campaign.
We are hugely proud of several team members who regularly fulfil volunteer roles alongside the Foster and Gamko ‘day job’ including:
· 2 retained firefighters
· A refugee charity support volunteer
· A junior parkrun run director
· A Girl Guiding leader
Our team also supports the community with local events such as beach cleans.
Foster and Gamko are Norfolk Wildlife Trust ‘Investors in Wildlife’. The charity, which has been protecting Norfolk’s wildlife for almost a century, manages nature reserves across the county, safeguarding diverse habitats such as beaches, commons and marshland.
Foster and Gamko were given the accolade following the donation of energy saving refrigeration equipment to support their Holme Dunes Reserve.
